Prepared for Royalty?

I believe it was Chuck Swindoll who I heard tell this story.

In 1959, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip visited Chicago for the first time. The visit was a highlight of events planned to celebrate the opening of their seaport. The Queen sailed in on her royal yacht.

Prior to Her Majesty's arrival, Chicago was busy preparing to offer a royal welcome. New Paint was applied throughout the city and debris was removed. During all of the preparations, someone asked a representative from the Five Star Drake Hotel what special preparations they were making. The representative replied to the effect, "We're always prepared for royalty."

John wrote, "And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming (I John 2:28)."

When Jesus return will you be prepared for his royal return?
